Four years later, he joined the Brownsburg Fire Department, where he would serve for the next 29 years. Chief Argyrakis has been in the fire service for 31 years in Northern Illinois. Chief Argyrakis moved to Indiana with my wife of 17 years and three children.  Twins who are 13 and his youngest who is 10. His family have been coming to Indy for the past 41 years to attend the 500.  They enjoyed the state and area so much that we named our dog Indy when we got him 4 years ago!

Division Chief of EMS Jeremey Baker

I have worked as an EMT and Paramedic for 15 years.  11 of those years have been with the Pittsboro Fire Department in both the Firefighter and EMS roles.  While working for the Pittsboro Fire Department in a part time capacity I also worked as a paramedic for Boone County Emergency Medical Services, as a firefighter/paramedic for the Indianapolis Airport Fire Department, and as a paramedic for the Brownsburg Fire Territory.  In January of 2023 I was promoted to the role of the Division Chief of EMS for the Pittsboro Fire Department.

As a paramedic myself it has always been my goal to provide the best patient care that I possibly can to our community and I expect nothing less of any of our members within our department.

I am blessed to have two wonderful sons.  When not working, you may find me under canopy skydiving.
